Eleanor Pulfer
Curator 
Eleanor Pulfer is a trained Curator and historian who joined Slough Museum in 2009. Eleanor is particularly interested in using objects and histories to connect communities with their heritage, and exploring how the past shapes contemporary individual and collective identities. As an experienced researcher, Eleanor has supported projects at the Museum of London, the Cardiff Project and Great Yarmouth Museums Service.

Professor Helen Nicholson
Chair of the Board of Trustees
Helen Nicholson is a professor of Drama and Theatre of Royal Holloway University.
Elias Kupfermann
Secretary of the Board of Trustees
Elias Kupfermann has been interested in the history of the area since he was a schoolboy. He is now a qualified heritage professional and worked at Slough Museum on the Heritage Lottery funded digitisation project. He is the archivist for Horlicks in Slough and has his own history column on the local paper. His main interests are the preservation of Slough’s historic buildings and documenting those which are threatened with demolition.
Jan Frederickson
Trustee (Museum Learning)
Jan Fredrickson has spent almost all her working life as a secondary school teacher in Slough. In recent years she has managed a variety of projects in primary and secondary schools, with a focus on creative learning and global citizenship. “The great thing about Slough Museum is the diversity of the human stories it tells and the fascinating and imaginative ways in which it can tell those stories.”
Arthur op den Brouw
Trustee (Marketing)
Arthur op den Brouw is experienced in commercial business, design and branding, with a background in fine arts and teaching. In 2009 he founded Ripple Effect Sales Ltd, an online training service, and Brand New Direction Ltd, which provides consultancy and design services. After years of supporting arts and cultural services in Slough, Arthur joined the Museum as a Trustee in 2009. He is passionate about the nature of identity and believes that the diverse and thriving community of Slough benefits from an equally wide-ranging and prosperous museum.
Kathy Styles
Volunteer Representative
Kathy Styles has volunteered for Slough Museum since 1986, worked for 2 years as the volunteer co-ordinator and was appointed as volunteer representative in 2010. Kathy is an experienced volunteer, and in addition to front of house roles helping visitors get the most out of their visit to the Museum, Kathy also supports Museum fundraising, outreach and administration. Kathy has spent her working life in Slough, working at companies such as British Gas and Age Concern and she currently works for Crossroads Care.
Volunteers
Slough Museum has been running for over twenty years with the support of volunteers. Volunteer roles include sitting on the Board of Trustees, supporting visitor services and assisting museum learning.
